Kingdom Made
Terms of sale

What you are agreeing to when you buy.

1 · What we are

Kingdom Made is a marketplace. When you buy a piece, your contract for that piece is with the studio that made it, and your contract with us is for the service of running the marketplace and taking the payment. Each studio is named on every piece and on your receipt, so you always know who made the thing and who is posting it.

2 · Ordering

Adding something to the bag is not an order and does not reserve it. Your order is placed when you pay, and it is accepted when the studio confirms it — you will get an email at each point. If a studio cannot fulfil your order it is cancelled and refunded in full, and we will tell you why.

3 · Price and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Delivery charges are not yet set, which is one of the reasons this site is not open for real orders. Nothing will be charged to you that is not shown before you pay.

4 · Getting it to you

Studios post within 2 working days of accepting your order, and you get a tracking reference the day it goes. Pieces sold as part of a numbered run or a pre-order carry their own posting date, shown before you pay. If that date moves we will tell you before it passes, not after.

5 · Changing your mind

You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind, which is longer than the 14 days the law requires. The full detail is on the returns page. Nothing on this page removes your statutory rights.

6 · If something is wrong with it

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If a piece is faulty, tell us and we will put it right — a repair, a replacement or a refund. You do not pay to return a faulty piece, and the return fee on the returns page does not apply.

7 · What we are responsible for

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

8 · Complaints

Email us. We answer complaints ourselves rather than routing them to a form, and we will tell you what we are doing about it and when. If we cannot resolve it between us you keep every right you would otherwise have.
